Walbro High Volume In-Tank Electric Fuel Pump Description
New Product Release: Walbro is proud to announce it's newest high performance in tank fuel pump, the 400 LPH 39/52 DCSS. This pump uses a dual channel single stage design to flow a massive 400 LPH at 40 PSI, making this pump ideal for high powered turbocharged/supercharged Honda Civics that make 450+ horsepower. This pump is only available as a universal fitment and may require some modification to the stock pump hanger assembly on certain applications.

To use the 01-05 and 06-11 Civic applications, we recommend converting to a RETURN-TYPE fuel system.

Walbro high volume in-tank electric fuel pumps are the most reliable, powerful, and widely used fuel pumps on the market. Whether you just need to replace your stock fuel pump, or need additional fuel delivery capabilities for all the modifications you've done, a Walbro fuel pump will do the job for you. Customers with performance parts often forget about buying a new fuel pump, which is a critical part of keeping your engine running optimally. This is true especially if you have a turbocharger or supercharger kit, which usually only come with bigger fuel injectors, but not a bigger fuel pump.

There are three different basic pump models we offer in terms of performance: A 190 LPH, 255 LPH, and 255 LPH-HP. The letters LPH simply stand for Liters Per Hour, which is a measure of how much a fuel pump can "flow" (the higher the number the more fuel). The HP stands for High Pressure, and just means that the fuel pump is designed to operate efficiently at higher pressures, which are commonly needed on turbocharged/supercharged applications.

The Walbro 255 LPH-HP pump is a very strong pump and it can support up to about 600 horsepower. The 255 LPH is most commonly used for light to medium boost turbocharged/supercharged applications, and the 190 LPH is recommended as an excellent replacement for your stock fuel pump that is suited for use with all common bolt-on combinations (intake/header/exhaust/ECU/etc.).

Important Application Notes, PLEASE READ: The Walbro fuel pump applications for the 88-91 and 92-00 Civics include a direct-fit hardware kit that makes the installation easy, and will work even with engine swaps (depending on the engine you put in, you may also need to add a return fuel line). The 2001+ Civic applications are intended for knowledgeable customers who are converting their fuel system to a RETURN-TYPE system. On these applications, some custom work is required, and not all the parts in the installation kit may be used.
