GReddy Turbo Kit Description
It takes a tremendous amount of money and time to successfully increase the power of a naturally aspirated Honda Civic engine. With a GReddy bolt-on turbocharger kit you can obtain instant horsepower gains with less time and money while still having the potential for upgrading. Unlike most turbo kits on the market today, GReddy kits are designed specifically for driveability and reliability, as well as performance. Since they are based completely on Honda Civic stock engines, these kits come with all the necessary basics, including fuel enrichment. Best of all, GReddy turbo kits for the Civic are CARB exempt, which makes them 50-state street legal. If competition use is your goal, there are many GReddy upgrades (intercoolers, blow-off valves, fuel management and boost controllers) to boost the power output of your Civic even further.

This is a very popular turbo kit due to its reliability, competitive price, and performance gains. It produces about 180 horsepower on the 92-00 Civic EX, and about 220 horsepower on the 99-00 and 02-05 Civic Si. With upgrades and some tuning, more power is easily possible! What's more, GReddy turbos have better response characteristics than other similar sized ball bearing turbos, so you will experience minimal turbo lag.

GReddy has recently updated their turbo kit for the 2006 Civic Si. Now, the e-Manage Ultimate unit directly plugs into your ECU - no splicing of wires is required! This means the GReddy kit is now truly a bolt-on turbo kit (no harder than installing an intake, header, and exhaust). This kit produces about 254 horsepower (at the flywheel) and includes a high-flow intercooler! For maximum power gains on the 06+ Si, we highly recommended purchasing a high-flow catalytic converter (or eliminating your cat entirely) and exhaust system. This Random Technology High-Flow Catalytic Converter will bolt up directly to the 06+ Si GReddy kit.

As with all turbo kits, we also advise running premium fuel (91 octane or better) and purchasing a set of 1 step colder spark plugs (Denso Iridiums perform the best).
