MagnaFlow Spun Metallic High-Flow Catalytic Converter Description
Catalytic Converter Emissions Notes: As with all other aftermarket catalytic converters, it is technically not smog legal to use this product on California OBD-II (96 & newer) vehicles, even though it may not actually increase emissions.

This new catalytic converter from MagnaFlow is perfect for situations where space is tight, and it contains a metallic substrate for optimum CFM flow and maximum durability (almost as good a flow rate as using no cat at all). You won't believe the power difference you'll get from installing this converter.

MagnaFlow's new spun body catalytic converters utilize a revolutionary new metallic catalyst technology. Using new manufacturing techniques, Magnaflow fabricates each converter body from a single CNC-formed and laser welded tubular section, which is then spun into a round converter body shape. Each converter is literally manufactured around the metallic catalyst, which is securely tucked inside, and necks down to thicker gauge material at the inlet/outlet for maximum durability. The catalyst is a spirally wound ultra thin metallic foil.

These converters are all universal fitment, so they will not "bolt-on" directly. A muffler shop needs to do some minor cutting/welding for perfect fitment on your application (this is not expensive and will ensure the best possible fit). You will also need to have the shop relocate your secondary o2 sensor to mount after the high-flow cat. If needed, you can also use our O2 Sensor CEL Eliminator.

Size Selection: To find out which size will fit best, just measure diameter the piping (or flanges) you are going to be putting this cat between, and try to pick the cat size that is a close as possible.
