Invidia Performance Header Description
The perfect compliment to a high flowing intake and exhaust system is an Invidia's performance header. These headers are designed to be a direct bolt-on part to increase the exhaust flow from the header to match up with Invidia's popular performance exhaust systems. Invidia Performance Headers have CNC machined flanges to ensure proper gasket sealing even under the most demanding conditions. These headers also use large diameter equal length primaries to maintain the perfect balance of exhaust velocity and reduced back pressure. To maximize the strength of the pipe joints, Invidia uses an innovative diamond shaped gusset to reinforce the weak point where 3 pipes join. Invidia headers also include flex pipes or expansion joints where necessary, which eliminates stress cracks, and leaking exhaust common with other, lesser quality systems. Each header ends with a large diameter flange to keep back pressure to a minimum in the transition to the exhaust. All of these elements combine to make an incredibly powerful header system, and making big power exhaust parts is what Invidia is known for.

Emissions Notes: Race header applications will eliminate your catalytic converter and are not smog legal. If you still want to use a catalytic converter with a race header, we highly recommend using one of our MagnaFlow Spun Metallic high-flow cats (with a little help from a muffler shop, it can be made to work).
