A cold air intake for your Civic will both save you on gas by an average of 1 to 2 MPG, and will increase your Civic's horsepower by 7 to 10 HP. If you're on a budget, a short ram intake for your Civic will give you added HP gains, but not quite as much as a cold air. Civic Cold Air Intake Recommendations
Simply put, you are investing money in your car; therefore you should try to get the best component for a given part. In regards to Civic air intakes, the best intakes will be a "tuned" cold air intake. The two tuned intakes we carry are an AEM V2 intake and Injen cold air intake (the ones that use MR Technology). For example, if you have an 06 Civic Si, you will get more horespower gains if you go with the Injen Cold air intake (with MR Technology) instead of the AEM Cold air intake.
