The PRL Helix Air Oil Separator does exactly what the name implies; it removes airborne oil from the engine ventilation system and keeps the intake system free of oil. Removing oil from the intake system is very important because airborne oil lowers fuel octane, increases the risk of detonation, increases emissions, and adds to oil consumption, in addition to making the intake track dirty. The PRL Helix AOS (Air Oil Separator) uses a unique "helix" core that uses centrifugal forces to separate the oil, fuel, and moisture from the air coming in. It condenses on the AOS's walls and collects at the bottom where it can then be drained out.
The PRL Helix Air Oil Separator (AOS) is made from CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a hard anodized silver or black finish. This premium AOS uses custom billet aluminum fitting and check valves, high-quality Viton O-rings and NBR reinforced rubber for maximum heat and chemical resistance. The main bracket is 304 laser cut steel that is CNC bent for precision fitment. The proprietary helix design ensures that the max amount of contaminants are separated and safely secured at the bottom for draining. Each kit is a direct fit with minimal modifications needed to install.

Usage Notes: This system is designed to work with normal levels of blow by gasses. If you have an engine with excessive amounts of blow by gasses (built motor or higher mileage engine with loose ring gaps), you may experience a bit of oil passing through still.
