Honda of Japan JDM Hamp Synergy Oil Filter Description
Straight from Japan, this Hamp Synergy oil filter meets and exceeds requirements for OEM Honda/Acura vehicles. To save on costs, Honda does not bring this quality oil filter to the U.S. for your Honda dealer to use. The oil filter you'll find at your local Honda dealer is actually made by Fram or one of several other U.S. companies, and in general has been found to be inferior to this Japanese Hamp filter. The Hamp filter is more durable, filters better, and will even increase oil pressure slightly to help with VTEC crossover.

  • Uses the latest technology in oil filters.
  • Imported from Japan.
  • Anti-corrosive paint.
  • Includes a relief valve to keep oil circulating when the element is stuffed, or when the engine was turned on in very low temperatures.
  • High performance filter element effectively catches very small dust and carbon particles.
  • Features an anti-drain back valve made from heat-resistant silicone rubber. This allows oil to circulate quickly right when you start your engine again.
Important: Our Hamp filters are actually made in Japan. They are not the U.S. made version (that still say Hamp on them!) that you may find sold elsewhere online.
