Honda of Japan JDM Civic Type R Red Valve Cover Description
These red JDM valve covers are normally only available in Japan for use on Honda's Type R vehicles. Imported from Japan, these 100% geniune Honda valve covers are now available for installation on your U.S. model Civic. A valve cover is basically the top "cover" of your engine that is visible when you open the hood. This is one of the best accessories you can buy to dress up your engine bay while still maintaining a "clean" overall look. Please note that this product does not include a spark plug wire cover or oil cap (you use your stock ones).

  • Direct fit, easy installation.
  • Deep red color that will not fade or diminish in appearance.
Installation Notes: You may find it necessary to get a slightly larger clamp for the breather tube opening on the JDM valve cover (it is a little larger than the stock one). Also, on the 02-05 Si, you will need to change 2 nuts on the spark plug wire cover. Lastly, remember to replace your valve cover gasket (and use sealant too) when you install this part. It's a $15 part and Honda recommends doing it every time you take off the valve cover.
