Honda of Japan JDM Civic Type R Shift Knobs & Boots Description
Shift knobs and boots sold separately.

These genuine Honda Civic Type R shift knobs and boots will complement your interior whether it is stock or fully modified. They are easy to install and can be used on your U.S. model Civic.

Key Features:
  • 100% genuine Honda, imported from Japan.
  • The 96-00 Civic and 06+ Civic shift boots have the traditional Type R "black with red stitching" look.
  • The 02-05 Civic Si shift boot will allow you to easily install an aftermarket shift knob without any modification (the stock shift boot does not allow you to swap shift knobs).
  • The 96-00 Civic and 02-05 Civic Si shift knobs are made from billet titanium and bead blasted to reduce glare. They are also weighted for faster shifting.
  • The 06+ Civic Type R shift knob is made from billet aluminum and has a slight bronze tint (looks really nice in person). It also is weighted for faster shifting.
The 96-00 Civic and the 02-05 Civic Si shift knobs are expensive because they are made from real billet titanium! If you don't want to spend that much money, but want something that looks similar, we recommend the Skunk2 Shift Knob.

Fitment Notes: All shift knobs and boots are for manual transmissions only. In addition, for the 02-05 Civic Si, you must purchase BOTH the Type R shift boot AND a shift knob (the Type R one or something similar like the Skunk2). For the 06+ Civic, the shift boot will hang below your shift knob and will not connect directly to it (same as the stock shift boot on the 06+ Si).
