Defi Link Meter Display Description
The Defi Link Meter Display is a multipurpose monitor which provides information on speed, oil temperature, water temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure, and exhaust temperature by connecting to the Defi Link Control Unit II.

The Defi Link Meter Display needs to be connected to Control Unit II. It can be connected in the same "daisy chain" fashion as all the other Defi Link Meter gauges. It does not come with pressure or temperature sensors. You can buy some sensor kits or use the sensors that come with Defi Link Meter gauges.

Key Features:
  • The display uses OLED (Rrganic Light Emitting Diode) technology. OLED is much better than LCD and is the next generation of display technology. It is self emissive, high contrast, high response, low power consumptive, and allows a wide view angle.
  • Real-time digital information includes speed, oil temperature, water temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure and exhaust temperature. Sensor sets need to be purchased separately to display the information on pressures and temperatures.
  • Vehicle performance data and peak values are placed in memory for 3 minutes, allowing examination of data after running the vehicle.
  • When the water temperature sensor is connected, the warm-up condition can be monitored.
  • When the RPM signal wire is connected to the Defi Link Control Unit II, 2 warning levels can be set in addition to the warning setting made by Control Unit II, enabling the setting of a total of 3 warning levels (Tachometer Triple Warning Mode).
  • A graphic animation plays after the ignition is turned on or off (Opening/Ending Modes).
  • The Warning LED lights when the set warning value is exceeded for oil temperature, water temperature, exhaust temperature and engine RPM. The Warning LED lights when a measured value drops below the set warning value for oil pressure and fuel pressure.
  • Trouble locations are shown by graphics so that connection problems can be quickly corrected (Self-Diagnosis function).
  • The structure of the mounting base allows height and angle adjustments.
Sensor Kit Notes: Our Defi sensor kits include 1/8" PT sensors and wires. If you buy an oil pressure/temperature sensor, use a 1/8" PT to 1/8" BSPT adapter and for the water temp, a 1/8 PT" to M 16x1.5 adapter. A lot of people find it useful to purchase a sandwhich adapter (Greddy makes a good one) that has ports for both oil pressure and temperature. It may also be necessary to buy some small parts (three-way joint, clamps, etc.) from a hardware store depending on the sensor you choose. Lastly, get some teflon tape (or other good thread sealant) to ensure a proper seal for the sensor.
