Defi Link Meter BF Gauges Description
Defi Link Meter BF (Black Face) gauges are Defi's top-of-the-line series of gauges. They are full sweep electronic blacked out gauges which have a quick response and refined design. When the car is off they have a black face with no numbers on them. As soon as the car is turned on, the gauges light up and are in full affect.

Defi Link Meter BF gauges need to be connected to the Defi Control Unit II (up to 7 gauges can be connected to this unit). This whole gauge system is collectively called the "Defi Link System" and it provides numerous advantages over using standalone gauges.

Key Features:
  • Very accurate and light weight.
  • Gauge dials are invisible while the ignition switch is off. Once the ignition switch is turned on, a clear display appears with LED illumination. A red emitting needle pointer increases visibility. Both white and amber red illumination models are available.
  • Gorgeous Opening and Ending Modes: During the opening mode, wire disconnections, short circuits, and serial errors are checked automatically. When errors are found, LEDs light up in order.
  • Brightness can be adjusted. There are 10 stages of brightness, 5 stages in the daytime and 5 stages in the nighttime.
  • Quick Response: Defi Link Meter BF pointers are driven by a stepper motor and have a smooth instantaneous response.
  • Driving data can be stored and can be replayed up to 3 minutes!
  • Double Warning function by a LED lamp and a beep.
All Defi Link Meter BF gauges are available in 60mm (2 3/8") diameter only.

Notes on Adapters: The standard thread type that comes with most all Defi gauges is 1/8" NPT. Honda engine blocks require adapters for oil pressure/temperature and water temperature readings. If you buy an oil pressure/temperature gauge, use a 1/8" NPT to 1/8" BSPT adapter and for the water temp, a 1/8" NPT to M 16x1.5 adapter (Auto Meter makes both of theses). A lot of people find it useful to purchase a sandwhich adapter (Greddy makes a good one) that has ports for both oil pressure and temperature.

Notes on Mounting Solutions: All Defi Link BF gauges come with mounting cups and holders. You still have the optional of purchasing a Defi fitting kit (basically a special cup holder) to allow mounting on the steering column or A-pillar.
