PIAA Super Bright Headlight / Fog Light Bulbs Description

PIAA Super Bright Headlight and Fog Light Bulbs are great way to really make your Civic stand out at night. These bulbs feature PIAA's exclusive XTRA Technology, which increases bulb performance without taxing your vehicle electrical system. All PIAA headlight bulbs are manufactured to SAE recommended specifications and DOT compliant. PIAA Corporation has been designing and manufacturing high quality bulbs for nearly a half-century. PIAA scientifically engineers bulbs to exacting specifications, utilizing the latest in integrated computer aided technology.

PIAA Super Plasma GT-X bulbs provide an exclusive purple low beam and an Xtreme White high beam. They also have a purple colored top coat that will give your headlights a purple look even when turned off.

PIAA Xtreme White Plus bulbs provide a brilliant cool white light that will light up road hazards and street signs long before a normal halogen bulb. The blue topcoat on these bulbs adds a slight blue tint to the lamp for enhanced curb appeal.

PIAA Intense White bulbs are a new offering designed to replace the old Star White bulb line. The larger glass tube increases output (28% whiter color than STAR WHITE) and allows the bulb to burn at much cooler temperatures. These bulbs provide the best possible balance between performance and bulb life.

PIAA Plasma Yellow bulbs use patented Ion Crystal technology and help improve your visibility in inclement weather. Ion Crystal puts out an amber/yellow light that is less reflective than white light thus greatly reducing the amount of glare in extreme fog.

Fitment Notes: Sold in packs of two. All bulbs, except the universal applications, are designed for use with stock headlights. Note that for 92-03 Civics, a single bulb functions as both the low and high beams. The H1 and H3 bulb types are designed to work with the headlights we sell on this site (please see the headlight description for what bulb works with it). The H11 bulbs work with the OEM style fog lights we sell on this site. IF YOU HAVE OR WILL PURCHASE THE HEADLIGHTS WE SELL, please view the product description page for your headlights to see which replacement bulb type you need.

Note: Color temperature is a unit of measure for the color of light, it is not necessarily related to the heat of the light source. Keep in mind your light bulbs may not show the exact same color as the chart above suggests. This is because some bulbs, like the Xtreme White Plus, have a colored top coat.
