Hondata K Series ECU Reflash Description
The Hondata K Series ECU Reflash will provide you with a very noticeable increase in performance, while retaining the reliability, fuel economy, and clean emissions Honda designed into the stock ECU. The reflash is also simple to install and requires no tuning on your part. The reflash works by reprogramming your stock computer (ECU) to be optimized for better performance, and to work better with common "bolt-ons" such as intakes and exhausts. The Hondata Reflash is one of the most cost effective and popular modifications for K Series Civics.

After your order is completed and processed, you will receive a package (.zip file) via email that will contain all the information you need to get your ECU reflashed. Please note that the free shipping we offer on this product is only the return 1-2 day shipping FROM Hondata - it does not cover shipping TO Hondata (should only cost about $10 for most customers, but may be more if you plan on sending your ECU to Hondata expedited). There may be an additional shipping charge for customers who live outside the 48 states. TOTAL TURNAROUND TIME FROM WHEN HONDATA RECEIVES YOUR ECU TO WHEN YOU GET IT BACK IS 2-4 BUSINESS DAYS.

02-05 Si Reflash Specs:
  • 10-12 Peak horsepower gain depending on the dyno and modifications.
  • 4-9 lb-ft torque across the rev range.
  • Power peak raised 400 rpm from 6300 rpm to 6700 rpm (higher with headers).
  • Rev limiter raised to 7700 rpm.
  • Fully dealer compatible - works with all Honda scan tools and equipment.
  • 0-60 mph times improved by 1 second.
  • Not recommend with a turbo/supercharger or nitrous. Make sure to always use 91 octane.
  • IMPORTANT: Before ordering, make sure your ECU part # (located on the side of the ECU) ends in PNF-A01, PNF-A02, PNF-A03, etc. up to PNF-A12. If it does not, you cannot use this product.
06+ Si Reflash Specs:
  • Advances the cam angle to optimize for common bolt-ons. This reflash works great with intakes, exhausts, and headers (especially race headers).
  • 10-25 horsepower gain midrange (depending on modifications).
  • 5-29 lb-ft torque gain midrange (depending on modifications).
  • Raises the rev limit to 8600 rpm.
  • Lowers the VTEC point to 4500 rpm.
  • Below 4500 rpm the K20Z3 is always on the low cam.
  • Above 5800 rpm the K20Z3 is always on the high cam.
  • Between 4500 rpm and 5800 rpm the K20Z3 is on the low cam at part throttle, switching to the high cam at full throttle.
  • Not recommended with a turbo/supercharger, but nitrous should be fine.
  • IMPORTANT: You must have a minimum of an intake or header, or you will loose power between 4500 rpm and 5600 rpm!
  • IMPORTANT: Before ordering, make sure your ECU part # (located on the side of the ECU) ends in RRB-A04, RRB-A05, RRB-A06, etc. up to RRB-A14. If it does not, please contact us as you may not be able to use this product.
In general, reflashes are for U.S. vehicles only (that is all they have been officially tested on). If you have a non-U.S. Civic, please email us and we will try to determine if it will work.

Rev Limit Notes: Hondata increases the rev limit to what it considers a safe value for daily drivers, but please keep in mind that any increase in rev limit is at your own risk. If you suffer engine damage that is related to excessive revs Honda may not pay for the damage even if you are still under warranty.
