Turbo Specialties (TSI) K20Z3 Extreme Turbo Kit Description
NEW: This "Version 2" K20Z3 Turbo Kit features revised intake piping and we now offer a Hondata FlashPro (with base map) as a tuning option for this turbo kit. If you do not purchase the FlashPro, you will need some other type of tuning solution to properly run this turbo kit.

If you are looking for the ultimate in high performance for your 06+ Si, then the Turbo Specialties (TSI) K20Z3 Extreme Turbo Kit is for you. It provides maximum horsepower for the very discriminating and yet is still dependable enough for daily driving. In all their kits, TSI uses Garrett turbos, which are world renowned for their reliability and performance.

This particular version of the K20Z3 kit comes with a bigger and more efficient turbo (Garrett GT2860RS), and high performance Honda injectors. For maximum power gains, we highly recommended purchasing a high-flow catalytic converter (or eliminating your cat entirely) and exhaust system. The Random Technology High-Flow Catalytic Converter will bolt up directly to this turbo kit.

Key Features:
  • Safely produces a 50% gain in horsepower on stock engine internals. This means you will get about 300 total horsepower (about 270 wheel horsepower on a Dynapack dyno) out of your 2006+ Civic Si. To get these advertised gains you should install at least a high-flow cat and 70mm exhaust or larger. If you increase the boost, more power is possible (up to about 350 horsepower).
  • Will work with stock engine internals (the only exception is that your clutch will need to be replaced sooner than recommended by Honda).
  • Completely bolt-on installation.
  • Garrett GT2860RS ball bearing turbo w/ internal wastegate set to 6-7 PSI. Also includes a built-in oil restrictor.
  • Cast manifold that comes preassembled on Garrett turbo.
  • Features 4 high-performance Honda 410 cc/min fuel injectors w/ clips. These Honda injectors are special in that they are designed for turbo vehicles and have very good fuel atomization properties.
  • The optional Hondata FlashPro tuning solution (with base map) is highly recommended.
  • This kit can also be run with other tuning solutions, but no base map will be supplied.
  • No matter which tuning solution you use, we still do recommend getting your vehicle tuned by a professional. This is the best way to achieve maximum power gains.
  • Down pipe and gasket.
  • Polished charge piping.
  • High-flow intercooler.
  • Stainless steel braided oil line and fittings.
  • Stainless steel braided water lines for turbo cooling.
  • Blow off valve (recirculating).
  • Heat shield.
  • High-performance air intake and filter.

  • Installation instructions and wiring diagram (for customer who don't purchase the plug and play harness).
  • 5 year warranty on cast parts, 1 year for accessories, and the full Garrett manufacturer's warranty for the turbo.
GT2860RS Ball Bearing Turbo Notes: This version of the TSI K20Z3 kit comes standard with an ultra-high performance GT2860RS ball bearing Garrett turbo, which "spools up" faster and delivers power earlier compared to a regular journal bearing turbo.

Optional Parts: We suggest getting at least some sort of boost gauge so you know if your boost level is on target or not. You may also want to purchase a turbo timer as a convenience feature. If you do not purchase one, then you should let your car idle for about 2 minutes before shutting it off after a normal driving period. Lastly, if you remove your catalytic converter as part of the turbo installation, you may want to purchase an O2 Sensor CEL Eliminator if you get a CEL (Check Engine Light).

Other Recommendations: As with all turbo kits, we also advise running premium fuel (91 octane or better) and purchasing a set of 1 step colder spark plugs (Denso Iridiums perform the best).
