HKS Variable Boost Controller Description
One of the easiest ways to add power to a turbocharged Honda Civic is by increasing the boost pressure. HKS made the VBC (Variable Boost Controller) as an economic alternative to overly complex and expensive electronic boost controllers. Saving money doesn't mean your sacrificing quality though. HKS uses a pneumatic relief valve instead of a simple bleeder valve for internal wastegate applications as lesser boost controllers do. External wastegate specific valve keeps even the biggest external gates locked in at the boost level you choose, not fluctuating like cheap knock offs. Either system can be mounted inside the cockpit for on the fly adjustability.
