Buddy Club Racing Spec Camshafts Description

Includes 1 or 2 camshafts, depending on whether your engine is SOHC or DOHC.

Buddy Club Racing Spec camshafts are second to none. Utilizing advanced Japanese auto manufacturing profile modeling, Buddy Club has developed several different camshafts for both Honda Civic street and race applications. These camshafts are your ticket to making more power out of your Civic!

B Series Motor Camshafts (such as the 1999-2000 Civic Si):

Buddy Club Spec III Plus camshafts are made with brand new blank chilled cast cores to ensure strength and flexibility to take advantage of their patent pending Lobe Forming Technology to truly optimize the primary and VTEC cam lobes. The Spec III Plus camshafts were designed to accommodate a wide range of compression ratios from 10.0:1 to 13+. These camshafts are ideal for street use and provide a smooth, constant power throughout the RPM range. These camshafts also do not require any other valvetrain upgrades.
Buddy Club Racing Spec IV camshafts take advantage of the power making ability of higher compression setups. Spec IV cams are the ideal street/track camshafts. Valvetrain upgrade is highly recommended with these camshafts.
Buddy Club Spec V Extreme camshafts use one of the most aggressive designs in camshaft technology today. Utilizing Buddy Club's patent pending lobe forming technology, low to mid-range torque was further increased and lift was raised to an astonishing 12.8mm for explosive high-end power! These cams do not sacrifice low end power for top end gain, this is unlike anything you have experienced before! Valvetrain upgrade is required with these camshafts.

K Series Motor Camshafts (such as the 2006+ Civic Si):

Buddy Club Spec I camshafts are designed for street use and road racing. They are basically the ideal camshafts for everyday driving and will provide a good, solid gain in power with no other valvetrain upgrades required. These are equivalent to the B Series Spec III Plus camshafts.
Buddy Club Spec II camshafts are more aggressive and designed for fast road racing and race competition. They are good for Civic owners who want to occasionally race on the track but also use their car as a daily driver. These are equivalent to the B Series Spec IV camshafts. Valvetrain upgrade is highly recommended with these camshafts.
Buddy Club Spec N+ camshafts are the most aggressive available for the K Series motor, and are very close the exact profile Buddy Club uses in their own race cars. These camshafts are designed mainly for track and competition use, but could also be used on the street with a good tune. These are roughly equivalent to the B Series Spec V camshafts. Valvetrain upgrade is required with these camshafts.

Oversized Valves Notes: In general, we don't recommend using oversized valves with anything more aggressive than the Spec III Plus (on B Series motors) or Spec I (on K Series motors).
