Skunk2 High Performance Forged Valve Set Description

Includes all 16 valves for your engine.

Skunk2 Racing valves are made from SAE EV8 stainless one-piece forgings, which are then heat-treated using a proprietary heat treatment process. After CNC-machining and swirl polishing, a PVD black nitride coating is applied to reduce friction and increase wear resistance. Skunk2 Racing valves are lightweight, durable, and offer excellent heat and corrosion resistance.

Skunk2 Racing valves are available in stock and high compression versions. The high compression version DOES NOT mean you can only use it with high compression engines. It simply means that each valve has a flat-bottom which slightly raises your engine's overall compression ratio (by about 0.3 to 0.5 points).

Pro Series versions of these valve sets are designed to meet even the most demanding applications (such as prolonged high rpm or high boost).

Key Features:

Very lightweight (reduces valvetrain losses and wear).
Specially designed valve head profile that optimizes airflow to your engine's cylinders.
Forged and heat treated for ultimate durability.

+0.5mm and +1.0mm oversized valves are available but are special order (please call or email us). You will not see gains from oversized valves unless you are running a heavily tuned setup and you are going to port/polish your head.
