DENSO's Iridium power spark plugs help your Civic achieve unparalleled performance. Iridium is the biggest breakthrough in spark plug technology since platinum. DENSO Iridium Power spark plugs are currently the best iridium plugs available.

Iridium Power Spark Plugs Key Features:
  • Iridium conducts electricity better than platinum, and is 6 times harder and 8 times stronger than platinum.
  • Ultra-fine 0.4mm diameter iridium center electrode provides superior ignition performance.
  • Utilizes Denso's patented U-Groove technology for better fuel efficiency, improved throttle response, and greater firing energy.
  • Requires fewer volts to fire than any other plug.
Heat Range Notes: For every 75 to 100 hp you add to your Civic's engine, you may go to the next colder step plug. DENSO heat ranges move up as they get colder; 16 would be the hottest Iridium Power plug, 34 would be our coldest. The ranges (steps) go as follows: 16, 20, 22, 24, 27, 31, 34.

Gapping Notes: These plugs come pre-gapped and do not need to be gapped unless you are running an extremely modified engine or forced induction setup. If you do decide to gap the plugs, NEVER use a round gapping tool to check or change the gap, and never let any piece of metal touch the iridium center electrode or porcelain. Instead, carefully use needle nose pliers or spark plug gapping tool to bend the ground strap to the desired height.
