Hondata Heatshield Intake Manifold Gasket Description
The Hondata "Heatshield" is a special high temperature plastic gasket designed to replace your stock intake manifold gasket. Its purpose is to insulate your intake manifold from the cylinder head, thus keeping your intake manifold, and the air that passes through it, much cooler. This cooling effect is good for up to 5% horsepower gains! Unlike normal gaskets, this Hondata gasket is also reusable, so you don't have to ever replace it.

It is a known fact that for every 5 degree (Fahrenheit) increase in intake temperature, air density drops 1%. The hotter the air, the less fuel the computer injects to compensate for reduced oxygen. Cold air always has the ability to give more power per unit of volume than hot air. This is why the Hondata intake manifold gasket works.

Beware of cheap imitations: Hondata gaskets WILL NOT melt or damage your engine like some cheaper gaskets often found on eBay.
