FAL / Flex-a-lite Electric Fan Controllers Description
An electric fan controller allows you to adjust when your fan turns on/off. Normally, on a Honda Civic stock system, the fan will only come on once the engine's operating temperature exceeds a certain threshold. With the FAL / Flex-a-lite temperature based electric fan controller, you can lower this threshold so your fan constantly brings in cool air, which will keep your Civic's engine cooler.

Fan controllers are especially effective with FAL high performance fans.

Flex-a-lite Electric Fan Controllers Key Features:
  • Dial-adjustable from 180 to 240 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Freedom to set one temperature for occasional high-demand use, then reset for highway or day-to-day driving.
  • Comes with a built-in A/C relay for your fan so it comes on with the air conditioning, giving your system a head start on the added cooling demand.
  • Optional illuminated cockpit switch allows you to conveniently override fan function at any time. This switch can be wired to turn on the fan regardless of the temp setting (for hard pulls, short races, etc.).
Both the temperature based controller and switch can be used together and you don't have to have a Flex-a-lite fan to use either of them.
