DC Sports Race Headers Description

DC Sports race headers eliminate the catalytic converter and are tuned for all out performance. DC Sports race headers are designed in 4-into-1 (pictured) and 4-2-1 configurations after determining which style will deliver the best usable power for a particular Honda Civic. Equal length primary piping and cylinder matching ensures the best performance for your Civic.

DC Sports 4-into-1 designs (pictured) feature a unique trapezoidal merge collector that is proven to expedite gas flow better by virtually eliminating turbulence in the collector area. This design also improves ground clearance.

DC Sports race headers come finished in either 100% 304 polished stainless steel (including flanges) or in mild steel with a special corrosion-resistant ceramic coating to trap heat and improve exhaust flow.

Standard Features on DC Sports Headers:

The 4-2-1 two-piece headers feature CNC machined O-rings to eliminate leaks and threaded bolt holes for easy installation. No one likes chasing bolts when you are underneath your Honda Civic and you wont have to with DC Sports headers!
DC Sports one-piece 4-2-1 header design improves ground clearance and reduces weight by eliminating the middle flanges. These systems are significantly lighter than stock headers and are up to two-pounds lighter than two-piece systems!
DC Sports uses beefy 3/8 CNC machined flanges that bolt directly to the Honda Civic stock catalytic converter for easy installation and a factory-like fit.
Whenever possible, DC Sports retains the Honda Civic factory hardware, and includes all necessary hardware with every header system it manufactures. Comprehensive installation instructions are included with every system.
An 02 sensor bung is incorporated into each system and a wiring extension kit is included for the sensor when necessary. If it is needed, DC Sports incorporates a flex pipe to eliminate the chance of cracking on rigidly mounted headers. Systems that utilize spring-loaded bolts and donut gaskets do not require a flex pipe.
All factory fittings are retained to eliminate the chance of throwing a check engine light, and to achieve 50-state legality (race headers and turbo manifolds retain emissions but are NOT 50-state legal).
DC Sports headers are CNC mandrel bent using data acquired from a non-contact digitizing scanner for consistent production of every system.
DC Sports uses solid hangers for the best durability, as hollow hangers can bend under stress. All hangers and reinforced brackets on our headers mate with the Honda Civic factory mounting locations for easy installation.

Emissions Notes: As with any race header, this product will eliminate your catalytic converter and is not smog legal. Your Civic may detect that your catalytic converter is missing and may throw a harmless Check Engine Light (CEL). If you want to get rid of this, you can just install an o2 Sensor CEL Eliminator.
