Skunk2 MegaPower Race Header Description

The Skunk2 MegaPower header is designed and engineered to maximize exhaust flow and increase both horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM powerband. Skunk2's unique design is the result of over a decade of racing experience coupled with computerized modeling and extensive dyno testing. Each Skunk2 MegaPower header features equal length, sequentially-paired, stepped primaries and a 4-2-1 Tri-Y design with a 2.5" collector. These features, coupled with Skunk2's unique design specs, provide an extremely broad powerband that can be used on a wide range of engine sizes and configurations. Each header is constructed from T-304 stainless steel with fully polished, mandrel-bent tubing and a CNC-machined flange for added strength and durability.

Emissions Notes: As with any race header, this product will eliminate your catalytic converter and is not smog legal. If you still want to use a catalytic converter with this header, we highly recommend using one of the MagnaFlow Spun Metallic high-flow cats (with a little help from a muffler shop, it can be made to work with your exhaust setup). You will also need to have the shop relocate your secondary o2 sensor to mount after the high-flow cat. Your Civic may detect that your catalytic converter is missing and may throw a harmless Check Engine Light (CEL). If you want to get rid of this, you can just install an O2 Sensor CEL Eliminator.
