Tokico HP Series Shocks / Struts Description

Sold in sets of 2 (front pair or rear pair).

Tokico's HP Series - the famous "Blue Shock" - is a great replacement for your soft stock ones. The HP Series damping typifies Tokico's valving flexibility and philosophy by minimizing low speed damping force and greatly increasing damping at medium and high piston speeds for improved compliance, tire adhesion and handling.

The twin-tube low-pressure design uses a multistage variable-aperture sandwich-valve system consisting of precision spring plates and angle drilled piston ports. This sophisticated oil flow management system provides the right amount of resistance at a wide variety of suspension motions and velocities. Tokico performance shocks also use a special rod guide design and low friction piston to minimize mechanical drag.

Lowering Notes: On these shocks, you can lower your vehicle a maximum of about 2" without affecting ride quality (if you choose to do this and notice that you're hitting the bump stops on bumpy roads, you can simply cut off some of the bump stop to prevent this from happening and increase ride quality).
